Creating a Data-Driven Presentation to Secure Stakeholder Approval for a New Secondary Navigation in ANZ’s Home Loans Section.

Data assessments revealed how our current secondary navigation is performing. By analysing this data, I identified opportunities for improvement and proposed changes. These insights will guide an A/B test to evaluate a new secondary navigation solution, ensuring a more effective and user-friendly experience based on measurable results.

Situation

Home loans are the bank’s core business, requiring marketing approval for major changes. To secure approval, I summarised key data and explained the rationale behind the change, ensuring clarity. This approach helped gain their buy-in and demonstrated the benefits of the proposed update based on data-driven insights.

Complication

I conducted a large-scale data assessment of the secondary navigation on desktop and mobile, then presented my findings to marketing stakeholders. They approved the change, offered recommendations based on their requirements, and we aligned on the next steps. With their support, we were set to proceed with A/B testing.

Resolution
